Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on a Mac with a controller
The Indiana Jones and the Great Circle layout is built into InputConfig, free on the Mac App Store. You don't have to make an account, there are no subscriptions, and nothing is locked. Optimized for Apple silicon.
On a Mac: No Mac version: Steam lists it for Windows only. Xbox Cloud Gaming carries it in the US and plays in a browser on a Mac. A Windows PC you own can stream it too. Either normally passes a controller to the game's own scheme.
Yes, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle plays on a Mac with a controller, through Xbox Cloud Gaming in a browser or a stream from a Windows PC. Either one normally passes your pad to the game, and this layout is for a stream that does not. The game is a brawler with a whip and a camera, and all three have a button.
The layout, control by control
How the layout thinks
- Move and look. The left stick walks on W, A, S and D. The right stick moves the mouse at speed 17 across and 14 up and down.
- Fight. The right trigger punches (left click), the left trigger readies the whip (right click), and the left bumper swings it (Q).
- Face buttons. Jump on the bottom (Space), crouch on the right (Ctrl), reload on the left (R), interact on the top (E).
- Items and camera. Use item on the right bumper (F). Items 1 to 3 on D-pad up, down and left, the map on right (M). The camera on the right stick click (C).
- Menus. Sprint on the left stick click (Shift), the journal on Back (Tab), menu on Start (Escape).
Sneaking is the other half of the game, and crouch is on a face button. The camera is on a stick click, because you will want a photo of every fresco.
Tune it
- Disguise and throw. Put their keys on chord rows, held with a spare button.
A chord gives the rare actions room without moving the everyday ones.
If the game sees the pad
If a punch also does something else, Indiana Jones is getting the pad and this layout at once, so press Deactivate.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle controller support: controller or keyboard
Steam's store page lists full controller support for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, so the game was made to be played on a controller, menus included. A keyboard and mouse work as well, and the choice is yours. On a Mac, use the game's own controller support first when it sees your pad. This layout is for a pad it does not see, or for buttons it will not let you move.
From Steam's listing, checked in October 2026. Every game's listing is in Mac games with controller support.
If your controller is not working in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
When Indiana Jones and the Great Circle does not react to your controller on a Mac, check these in order:
- Check that the Mac sees the controller. Open the gamepad tester and press a button. If nothing lights up there, the problem is the connection, and a controller that is connected but not working covers that first.
- Press a button after the stream has started. A stream only picks up a controller that is paired with the Mac, and a browser shows a controller to a page only after a button press. Start Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, then press any button. Streaming from your own PC has its own checks, in how to stream PC games to a Mac with a controller.
- Play it from keys. If Indiana Jones and the Great Circle still ignores the pad, activate this layout. It sends the keyboard and mouse controls Indiana Jones and the Great Circle already reads. Turn the game's own controller option off while it runs, or a press can arrive twice. The layout works whether or not Indiana Jones and the Great Circle ever sees the controller.
Get it in two clicks
- Open InputConfig and click Smart Preset Maker on the welcome screen.
- Search for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and pick it. The layout is created as a preset in your sidebar, named and ready.
- Press Activate. Every row can be changed afterwards: the editor's Scan button rebinds any control the moment you touch it.

Questions
Does Indiana Jones and the Great Circle run on a Mac?
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle does not run natively on a Mac. Xbox Cloud Gaming carries it in the US, and a Windows PC you own can stream it. Either usually passes a controller through.
Can I play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on an M1 Mac or a MacBook Air?
Yes, through a stream. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle runs on the other end, on a cloud service or your own PC, so the Mac only plays the video and sends your input. An M1 MacBook Air streams it like any other Mac.
Does Indiana Jones and the Great Circle run in CrossOver on a Mac?
I have not tested Indiana Jones and the Great Circle in CrossOver. CodeWeavers keeps a compatibility list where players report how each Windows game runs. If it runs and the controller is not seen, this layout plays it from the keys and mouse.
