The 46 built-in presets, with downloads
InputConfig is completely free on the Mac App Store. You don't have to make an account, there are no subscriptions, and nothing is locked. Optimized for Apple silicon.
These 46 presets ship inside InputConfig, sorted into the same folders the app's sidebar uses. Each one has a page with every binding in a table and the preset as a file, so you can read exactly what a layout does before you install the app, or carry a copy to another Mac.
Easy Browse is the one the app's welcome screen offers first, a calm layout for using the whole Mac from a controller. For a whole setup around one preset, the guide to playing any game with a controller and the MIDI control surface guide go further, and the built-in presets help page says what each showcase is there to show.
Getting a deleted preset back
Restore Built-in Presets in Settings, Advanced, Data & storage puts back any built-in preset you deleted. The files on these pages are the other route: download one and add it with Import Preset File, in the menu next to any preset. Where your data lives covers backups.
