Download on the Mac App StoreThis preset ships inside InputConfig, free on the Mac App Store. You don't have to make an account, there are no subscriptions, and nothing is locked. Optimized for Apple silicon.

In this showcase preset, every face button speaks a phrase when pressed. Every phrase plays through the Mac's sound output, so to hear them from a DualSense's own speaker, pick the controller in System Settings, Sound.

Where it is in the app

It ships in the Feature Showcases folder of the sidebar. Activate it, or press Edit to see every row. The file below is the same preset, inactive and ungrouped.

Notes

  • Learn a layout by ear. Leave a row's phrase empty and it speaks the input's name.
  • The controller speaker. Phrases reach a DualSense's speaker only when the Mac's sound output is set to the controller, in System Settings, Sound.

An empty phrase is the quickest way to learn any layout without looking.

Download

To add one, drop the file on InputConfig's Dock icon, or see importing a preset. It arrives inactive, and any launch target in it is cleared.
