Desktop Navigation preset
This preset ships inside InputConfig, free on the Mac App Store. You don't have to make an account, there are no subscriptions, and nothing is locked. Optimized for Apple silicon.
Desktop Navigation is the preset most people activate first. It turns any controller into a complete mouse with a few macOS shortcuts attached, and it is the base that the Easy Browse and Office Controller guide presets were built from.
Left stick = cursor, right stick = scroll, face buttons = shortcuts.
Where it is in the app
It ships in the Desktop & Productivity folder of the sidebar. Activate it, or press Edit to see every row. The file below is the same preset, inactive and ungrouped.

23 rows. Button names are the Xbox / PlayStation pair the editor shows; a Switch Pro Controller fires by position. Options are the row settings that differ from the defaults.
Notes
- Variable pointer speed. A small push is precise and a full push crosses the screen.
- Drift at rest. Raise the Deadzone on the four left-stick rows, or use Stick settings on the input device's ⋯ menu to change all four at once.
If the pointer creeps when you let go, the deadzone is the first thing to change.
